Pros

Agency is currently offering sign on bonus for new state employees. There's a lot of change happening opening a lot of opportunities.

Cons

There has been a large loss of knowledge over last few years with retirements. There's a lot of change happening very quickly.

Pros

Very flexible with time-off and scheduling. Good opportunity to learn a lot about various tax types as they apply to a variety of industries. A large portion of management is close to retirement age so there should be many opportunities for advancement. Employees seem eager to help one another.

Cons

Salary ranges are a little low. Management can be bureaucratic. Some employees have poor worth ethics and bad attitudes.

Great Job, with good Benefits.

Cons

Crazy Gov. Who ended collective barganing. So no more raises. you will pretty much be stuck at the some salary of unless you get promoted. Which wont happen.
