Pros

Colleges are awesome and office facilities are amazing also. Its a company that is facing really interesting challenges in the finance sector and They build new teams contantly

Cons

The conditions and the salary is really low. The don´t promote people that work hard you have to be really smart to make your own side projects and success by yourself.

Pros

- The mission. It's great to do something that has a bigger meaning. We are all here to change the world of finance. - The team. We are inspired by working in a united, caring and multicultural team. Wisers are massively talented and motivated, not to mention some of the friendliest and kindest people you will meet. - The freedom & trust. In TransferWise I have a lot of freedom in my work. My lead isn't telling me what I should work on, but he is there for me when I want to bounce ideas and supports me when I need it. Sometimes this freedom & responsibility is scary, but it helps me to grow. - Personal growth. During my TransferWise journey (more than three years) I have worked on so many different topics and learned a lot while doing it. As we grow so fast, we have all the time new challenges coming up, and I have crossed my comfort zone limits so many times. - Great vibe. The overall atmosphere is very relaxed and non-stressful but still professional. We also have super cool offices & healthy breakfast

Cons

- As our teams are autonomous, there can be problems with communications and it has happened that two teams are working on similar things - Having so much freedom and responsibility can be overwhelming. You need to pay a lot of attention to your well-being. - As there are some many interesting challenges, it's hard to stay focused

Pros

Very flexible hours Extremely helpful colleagues Excellent team leads No micro-management (you are autonomous in your job, yet you are given productive feedback to improve) Not a call centre job (only a few hours on phones per day, not everyday) Opportunity to work from home from time to time Opportunity to visit other offices in other countries Flat hierarchy, meaning that the CEO could sit next to you and ask for your opinion even if you were hired 2 months earlier and have an entry level position Very nice office and informal atmosphere (casual dress code, no assigned seats) The office and atmosphere are so cosy that some people show up even on days they are not scheduled to work Team lunches and new benefits being introduced from time to time, you feel your conditions can only improve

Cons

Some people could be uncomfortable with such an informal working environment It is required to be friendly and open to socialise at all times, it can be a con for people who are introverted or do not enjoy making friends at work
