      Great company while it lasted.

      Pros

      Wistron was great company to work for while it lasted. Engineering team acquired from Blackberry before. Lots of cool projects, and smartphone designs worked on. Sad the office got shut down and lots of good engineers let go.

      Cons

      Compamy shut down high performing North America office. Let a lot of great engineers go. Experience brain-drain to train China and Taiwan teams then fired US office after.

      Not the worst but definitely not the best

      Pros

      No customer interaction and you're left alone most of the day.

      Cons

      Managers don't follow safety procedures often and part time employees (who work the same hours as full time) take forever to become full time so they don't have to give you a pay raise or benefits. Instructions change daily.
