CCH is a good place to work overall.

Pros

CCH is the best company to work for in this industry. They invest in their products even when the economy is down. They continue to invest in their employees as well. There's an annual mid-year sales meeting where sales and marketing staff are flown in from all over to have an intense 3 days of training so they know the best way to sell and market their products. Compensation is fair. The benefits are great. Every employee starts with 20 days of paid time off. There is flexibility in telecommuting and even some in working hours. There are also several ways to get compensated for outstanding work through special project bonuses, a trip to Achievement Club, etc. There are also a lot of high quality people that work there.

Cons

CCH is a company that is very slow to change. There are two types of employees there -- ones that have been there 10+ years who don't embrace change and newer employees who want to find ways to improve processes, but continuously get told no. It also has a working environment where people are almost expected to be available after hours or when they are taking days off.

Pros

Benefit package - a lot of PTO if you are allowed to take them all and profile sharing plan is one of the highlight. Your hard work may be rewarded by nominate to attend achievement club which can spend few days vacation on company's expense.

Cons

You will expect to have long hours of work and stressful work environment. Management may put you in panic mode intentionally so you can get the job done quicker and burn you out quicker. Many newly hired managers are clueless - as long as you know how to play politic, you can be in management team. Always has excellent process on paper to improve work but never get executed or interpreted correctly.

Pros

work life balance is good, salary is ok but if u want to stay current technically or looking for cutting edge stuff then not so much....also there is a disconnect between the leadership and the employees which i guess is more common than not

Cons

not much career growth, performance doesn't really mean much during review time, employee morale is pretty low, benefits could be better too with the insurance rates going up every year
