Pros

Can be an ok place to start a software career, depending on which department you hire into and who is managing it. Good PTO plans, especially at 5 and 10 year levels.

Cons

Management at Team Lead level and above became dysfunctional in a hostile, toxic, and terminal manner. Higher up at VP level and beyond was marked by one ill-advised and destructive initiative after another. Utter rejection of all good advice to the contrary from the loyal non-management staff at the bottom. Can be hard to find time when they will let you enjoy above-said generous PTO; frequent, lengthy blackouts can interfere. Unreasonable limits placed on time off near holidays. Pay lags badly as you get more skilled. You'll get promises, promises, for years, and it will never happen.

Pros

Big company (is that a pro?), nice office, fair benefits (though health is not competitive), fair compensation. Convenient to transportation. Having trouble completing the 20-word minimum on "pros"...

Cons

Lot of turnover, politics, back-stabbing, a "boy's club" of insiders. Little room for professional development, lack of focus on the customer in lieu of empire building. A sweat shop with little, if any, recognition, so the reward is not commensurate with the overall comp package.

Pros

There are no positives to honestly write of. If you are desperate and without a job, you might consider this company.

Cons

Upper leadership is the worst. New ADP regime now in there trying to get rid of everyone but that will not work for long. Trying to lead without any understanding of the customers or products and zero respect for the employees. How is the WK Chairman still in place? She is the one who has led through this train wreck and somehow has survived while she has gotten rid of everyone else. Now the Mean Girls Club. Formerly the Incompetent Good Ole Boys Cronies Club.
