Promotions for Vets

Pros

There is open opportunity to get involved in all kinds of projects. Not many people will be aggressive to you, there is an element of "Michigan Nice". Large brand that is well paying in very affordable town to live in.

Cons

Promotions are given primarily to people that have been there for an extremely long time, not necessarily skill.

Pros

Great campus and campus benefits - the gym and it's employees are great, same with the café. Nature running trails and ample outdoor dining space makes it easy to take a midday break to rebalance. The Helpdesk is always available to troubleshoot technical issues and replace any malfunctioning hardware. Most level 2 - senior level employees truly seem to care, work hard and push for positive action within brands.

Cons

It seems most leadership has a jaded POV and therefore are resistant to rolling out massive, positive change. Which means, any complaints you hear about upon hiring will be par for course the rest of your time with WWW. During the pandemic, unfortunately corporate's true agenda was revealed that it's people matter less than the product (shoes), by massively cutting personnel and salaries, leaving the remaining staff extremely overwhelmed, understaffed and under paid with no readjustment of expectations given the lesser circumstances.
