Pros

Family atmosphere, stable company, clear mission, great environment if you're a middle aged white male, decent benefit programs, offices being remodeled

Cons

Complex matrix environment, poor leadership, CEO in way over his head (running out of scapegoats?), doesn't embrace diversity, no female leaders in top positions

Perpetually disappointing

Pros

Good people and great benefits

Cons

In a constant state of disorganization, missed financials, and restructuring. The company does not communicate and strategize, and always reacting to the latest crisis. Plans are immediately sacrificed in order to hit quarterly earnings, at the detriment of future benefit.

Pros

- The employees are generally very hard working and dedicated to their jobs. - The shoe discount is great - The onsite gym at the MI campus is beautiful - Some of the brands are actually very cool

Cons

- They expect you to work 2+ jobs, but only get paid for one. After of years of asking for more help, I got fed up and left. They backfilled my position with 2.5 people, so they clearly knew they need more help but chose to push me as hard as possible. - Upper leadership has no interest in employees or retention, just $$ and it's clear in they way they treat their people. - The Q4 stress and expectations are unreal. - Impossible to move internally, and when you do, you work your old job AND your new one for 6-8 months. - Bonuses ares structured in a way to ensure employees never get the full pay out (unrealistic numbers, etc.).
