Pros

- Quality of Staff - Many Long Term Employees - Great Benefits - Offices across Woolpert locations work well together.

Cons

- WOOLPERT has grown very quickly in just the last few years and with that, has become VERY corporate. Woolpert used to be more of a family and ‘we are in this together’ kind of employer even across all of its offices. - With the growth has come a less personal approach w/ employees - There is a disconnect between Corporate Management and team needs in satellite offices with regards to hiring practices and policy.

Pros

remote work flexible time off health benefits non-micro managing

Cons

Restricted in certain departments from moving up or laterally. Recognition rarely is given to back office positions, while client facing positions (those that are typically paid much more than the back office workers) are consistently commended in company meetings. Starting pay below minimum for experience held. Slow pay increases, regardless of performance. Cross training or shadowing for career growth seems impossible to obtain even after multiple requests to do so. Yearly bonus not guaranteed. Politics.

Pros

Flexible schedule, easy job, aren’t micromanaged

Cons

Management is terrible, none are qualified for their job and that shows. Woolpert constantly goes on hiring sprees followed by mass layoffs. Because of this there is no job security. There is no upward mobility, they only want people with no ambition that will stick their head down and do their work. There is no loyalty, employees that do good work and have been with the company for years will get layed off in favor of new employees that require less salary.
