Pros

Vacation policy is nice depending on who your manager is. A vast majority of the people I've encountered are a joy to work with.

Cons

Utilization goal gets in the way of actual growth and progress. Project schedules and expectations are often unreasonable. There is a considerable amount of work that is done that knowingly will need to be redone to satisfy clients which will blow project budgets. Situations will present themselves where you catch a design issue that you ultimately will get blamed for not catching earlier.

Good benefits but management decisions hinder competitiveness

Pros

Benefits are pretty good and work life are great

Cons

Adding more overhead and expecting the operations members to pay for increased low value positions. Many departments have tripled in size the last 2 years without any visible increase in positive impact. Many new senior managers don't have industry experience and make decisions that don't keep Woolpert competitive. Support functions have gone downhill in the last several years with new people being added. A lot of good talk by some without follow through.
