Pros

Reasonably good salary and benefits and sometimes interesting work.

Cons

Workload can be overwhelming because there aren't enough writing staff and the job cuts have been savage. The company doesn't seem to realise the importance to their customers of quality documentation and demonstrates little respect for individuals in writing roles. There seems to be an underlying assumption that AI can do most of this work, which is laughable. Workday claims to be all about the employee, which is true up to a point. When you're actually struggling, the company largely takes a box-ticking approach and doesn't actually demonstrate respect or care. For example, they would rather spend huge sums on flashy advertising campaigns than invest in their employees. In addition, recent layoffs have been savage. The best and brightest (and presumably the most expensive) employees have been made redundant, so zero recognition for good work.
