Pros

- Excellent benefits and employee wellness programs - Intelligent, driven colleagues and collaborative teams - Opportunities to work on impactful, enterprise-level SaaS products - Strong culture of customer focus in earlier years - Flexible work options and inclusive initiatives

Cons

- Inconsistent management quality—some leaders are exceptional, others lack empathy and accountability - Shift in company values over time; more focus on executive optics than genuine employee and customer care - Favoritism and internal politics sometimes override fairness and merit - Poor handling of employee well-being in times of personal hardship - Leadership misalignment and lack of support can undermine team morale and trust

Not the same company as it used to be

Pros

You will find amazing people that work there right away.

Cons

It's not the same company that it once was with Dave and Aneel. Although they say it, employees are not the main focus anymore. You need to be moving forward, even though promotions are harder and harder to get with the percentage decreasing each cycle or managers are instructed to manage you out.

Pros

Workday has great products and the customers that are happy,

Cons

Workday is in a cut back / layoff mode, even though their financials are good. Workday employees are demoralized, especially in Digital Marketing. The Digital Marketing management team are poor leaders, don’t know what they are doing most of the time and do not have a clue on how to engage and motivate us employees. They have weak leadership skills and are more focused on looking good rather than being good. This will eventually catch up with them and hopefully the digital management team will be replaced.
