Thank you for your thoughtful review. We recognize there is always room for improvement, but at Workday, we’re proud of our commitment to our Workmates and the 'employee first' mindset that has guided us from the beginning. We appreciate both your feedback and the recognition you shared in your review.

Pros

The people are great to work with generally, the office space is quite nice.

Cons

It's going down a bad direction, and I'm not just saying that because I was laid off. What used to make the culture there great is no longer there. Opportunities to expand your skillset are not so extensive as might be promoted.

Good benefits. Not the company it once was

Pros

Pay and benefits are good. Some teams have good morale still. Frontline leaders seem to want to get it right. Good work life balance. Flex work (50%hybrid schedule). Lots of helpful AI tools.

Cons

Not a fun place to work right now. Drastic shift in culture over past 3-5 years, especially after new CEO. Becoming more “big brother”. No longer the employee centric company it once was but leaders still say we put employees first. Constant, Wide spread paranoia about when the next layoff will be. Strategic direction pretty much follows industry trends. Workday doesn’t set the tone, just follows and goes the shareholders are happy. Internal mobility opportunities are lacking. Also Lack of diversity and getting worse with new administration selling to Fed.
