Pros

The company made efforts over the past couple years to bring on more experienced salespeople. As a result, some of the sales team members have legitimate experience selling SaaS solutions to enterprise clients. Aside from that, its a bloated, bureaucratic organizational with mediocre leadership, very limited experience building and maintaining a technology platform, and a sophomoric work climate. Strong Utah County culture, if you know what I mean. Pay is decent because of a competitive labor market, but pay for a position varies from person to person based on no known factors.

Cons

Fragile technology that breaks in unexpected ways with even minor software releases. No product roadmap for internal groups or clients. No vision from leadership. Attitude toward the workforce is people are a commodity. Attitude toward clients is they're a source of revenue. Mediocrity pervades the corporate culture. No best practices or standards employed in work areas. Silos divide key groups like customer support, sales, product management, engineering, professional services, etc. Pervasive low morale. Company does not make use of its own platform for much of the work done. Parts of the platform have languished without attention, e.g., agile, resource management, billing, etc. Inward focus rather than client focus. Recent rebrand to Workfront is a distraction and pure lipstick play, nothing substantial to it.

Pros

AtTask is the perfect combination of an enjoyable, yet professional work environment. Opportunities are available for those who work hard to move up, and AtTask knows how to stimulate productive, happy-workers. Great values, strong management, great incentives and benefits.

Cons

Not the most structured initial training, but at the same time, this is not a good fit for those who need constant hand-holding, or direction. Ask some questions, shadow, and get to work. You have to be creative in your approach to fulfill whatever your expectations are. If you cant be creative in making something out of nothing, this is likely not the best place for you.
