Pros

SUPER laid back company! Atmosphere is fantastic and everyone treats each other as family. Filing Season perks are amazing! Free food during filing season (catered, I may add) as well as free massages on Tuesdays/Thursdays! Headquarters location has a culinary chef that they hired from Las Vegas and cooks amazing meals every day. The job is fantastic! Great way to network with Fortune 500 companies while gaining experience in the Financial/Accounting world without having to do Financial/Accounting work

Cons

Pay is a little down to start with; would like to see an increase in initial salary. Communication can be lax; while upper management pushes for one source of communication, some departments could careless which makes it hard to communicate between departments.

Used to have better perks as a smaller company but the only reason to work for this employer anymore is for the resume.

Cons

Pay is bad. I mean really bad. Benefits are also mediocre. With Workiva going public on the stock exchange, our options we received turned out to be near worthless. Discouraging place to work anymore.

Wonderful people and an awesome product. Great learning experience.

Cons

Flat management structure seems okay at first, however, expectations are not clearly set; mid-level managers do not get checks-and-balances when it comes to hiring, firing or position changes. Also, you can't expect that your performance review will tell the full story since they don't stick to improvement plans.
