Good pay and benefits Supportive of learning and development Good work-life balance

Cons

Too much of a woke environment Too much focus on sales people Granted shares of company are not equally doled out (some get 10% of starting pay, others get much more). No clear direction given for bonus payout and merit increase (mostly it's whatever your manager thinks of you, rather than based on performance) Top-heavy on management

Pros

It's hard to describe how amazing this company is. It's been a long time since I've felt *heard* or *appreciated* and Workiva provides that in spades. As a parent to young children, finding a company that not only talks about work-life balance, but expects it for its employees, it's a pleasure to call this place home. Great benefits, competitive pay, the aforementioned work-life balance, and leadership that has your back at all times. I can't recommend this place enough.

Cons

Being in the financial reporting space, the role can be stressful, especially around deadlines. They'll never ask you to work nights or weekends, but it can happen simply because of the requests that can come in during all hours of the night (it's a global company). With that being said, though, all jobs have their stresses and Workiva is no different.
