Pros

World Vision is engaged in hundreds of exciting projects globally. Field Staff are wonderful to work with, and good work is done in the field. Local level empowerment leads to great innovation in the field. Christian worldview.

Cons

Recent funding challenges have resulted in organization wide restructuring. The best and brightest of the staff in key positions have left. Opportunities to move up are limited, and the overall attitude of staff is strained/worried. There are not enough staff in key positions. Despite years of lobbying senior management has not provided resources to increase head count. This creates huge burden and burnout.
