Pros

What World Vision does around the world is AMAZING, the lives changed, the children that have received clean water, school, and other aid is why I work here. very few organisations can do this to the scale of World Vision. - really caring about what WV does in the world -size makes donor dollars go further (economies of scale)

Cons

some disconnect between upper level leadership and younger employees. the organisation likes to hire outsiders for mid to upper managerial positions. This can some times lead to a disconnect with new leaders and the rest of the organisation. like any other non profit, pay is low compared to the private sector but that is to be expected.

Meaningful Work & Strong Company Culture

Pros

Being a large International NGO with over 40,000 employees, World Vision is able to maintain a friendly company culture across continents and cultures. World Vision is a reputable organization that is making a real impact in the world and I feel fortunate to be a part of that positive change.

Cons

The complex organization structure sometimes leads to some bureaucracy, but this is not uncommon for for such a large international organization.
