Middle management heavy. Did not realize until too late that there was career development offered by HR. Management in too many unnecessary meetings that takes time away from interacting and supporting employees.

Extremely risk averse; constant state of putting out the fire of the moment and solving for the moment with no clearly defined future organizational goals. Executive suite does not listen to nor value the insight of those who work in the trenches. Consistently do the same thing over and over expecting a different result and pressure the staff to deliver. Absolutely no leadership development and promote without defining leadership expectations and culture and make no investment to ensure leaders and managers are successful. Have made some disastrous internal promotion decisions negatively effecting fund-raising outcomes that will take several years to recover from IF appropriate change management is implemented.
