Pros

Lots of great ideas here

Cons

Ideas seem to be pipe dreams. Lots of people leaving due to poor supervisors and no follow through

WWT is stuck in their ways

Pros

-Health benefits are great. -PTO is really good (but if you are understaffed, it will be challenging to take time off without being contacted) -Some really friendly people work here -Remote and hybrid work options -Some teams and departments are better than others.

Cons

-WWT used the phrase"the worldwide way" which in marketing started to mean "no new ideas, and we do things the way we always have done, with the people we always have worked with". This mindset makes it challenging to bring a fresh POV and diversity into this department. You have to understand how people work and the politics (aka play the game). -Nepotism is common. -Marketing is incredibly understaffed, and the work is not balanced. Many people are doing the roles of three, whereas some people are bored without challenge. This is an issue because of mid-management and executive leadership. -Served as a manager without a title or pay change for almost a year. I reported this to my manager, my new manager when my old one left, and HR multiple times. I finally quit because of this issue. I wasn't given a real annual raise because my said promotion raise was on its way (for six months...). Overall I felt very taken advantage of and without any idea how to solve the problem on my own. HR may comment on this review that I should have contacted my manager, and I will be clear that I did this every weekly meeting. -Overall, being new and good at your job here is incredibly challenging. Growing is an uphill battle and will happen only if you are friends with your bosses/their bosses.

Pros

With the right attitude and full buy-in of the core values, there is limitless potential to succeed here. I started as a temp employee five years ago and have been promoted as many times. I have no college education and learned everything about the industry on the job. Wish I'd have joined this company earlier in my life, honestly. To the hard-working people in the lab and warehouse, don't fall into the trap of thinking you're stuck. Maintain a positive attitude, learn everything you can, and put yourself out there. Apply for anything you might be interested in, even if you think you might not qualify for it.

Cons

If you work in the lab or warehouse, sometimes there is little transparency on "how" to succeed here. If you work hard and do well, some members of leadership try to do whatever it takes to keep you on their team, even to your detriment. I think more work could be done with lower-level leadership in lab and warehouse positions so their employees feel like their leadership WANTS them to grow and move up in the company.
