Pros

Depending on your business segment and manager your experience as an employee can vary; however, at the executive level the culture is good. The benefits and flex time are great. You don’t need to worry about being laid off.

Cons

Tenure and loyalty is not rewarded. Bad managers take way too long to be removed. They are very conservative about hiring and people often cover more than one role.

Pros

WWT has a lot of offerings that our competitors do not which helps put WWT in a position to tell a better story and to win accounts. Benefits are great which cannot be overlooked along with a strategy to grow the portfolio of solutions. Leadership has done a nice job of communicating with the teams which is appreciated.

Cons

WWT has more overhead than what's needed and the constant cutting of sales compensation to pay for this overhead and overlay positions has allowed for the 7% growth of Net Income that Jim shared this week. The same thing that allows WWT to win accounts also gets WWT in precarious positions as WWT's Professional Services organization is immature and lacks the leadership necessary to be great. If you're looking to work here, be prepared to take on growth numbers that do not align with the market growth numbers and this is due to the overlay and management burden you will need to pay for. Your hard work is appreciated, but please be aware of how the factory runs before signing up.

Pros

The benefits package is world-class. Health/dental/vision/life all at a low rate with great coverage. The 401k matching is phenomenal, there is yearly profit sharing, and the PTO policy is well above average.

Cons

Unclear goals and communication from management. This is an AT&T "tech lab" but it's a glorified warehouse job. Despite being in a brand new building, it is already unbearably hot and humid, even though they claimed it would be a more comfortable environment. Favoritism among employees as well as between shifts. Not much room for growth.

I'm sorry things don't sound like they are going very well for you. I'm actually very surprised at the "give more transparent communication" comment. I can't think of a time that communication within WWT was any stronger than it is today. You really should bring forward your claims of favoritism. We can't do anything with non-specific information. Thank you for your feedback.
