      Too Much Nepotism

      Pros

      WWT has a create culture that encourages and values input from everyone.

      Cons

      I am a recent new hire to the Phoenix office. I have noticed that in one of the departments the manager has influence and power over three of the individuals that report directly to her. Of the small group of individuals that report to her, one is her sister, one is her cousin and one is her best friend. I'm afraid the manager for this work group is giving preferential treatment to these individuals and not adhering the the companies great policies. It's already hard enough to obtain employment in the Phoenix office without having to be directly related to someone in that group.

      Thank you. Many of our employees are referred to WWT by other employees. Occasionally this may be a relative. I agree it’s not an ideal situation to have someone working for someone they’re related to. This is something we will continue to evaluate. Thanks for providing this feedback.

      Great place to work as long as you don't work in IT Operations!!!

      Pros

      -The Benefits are second to none! -Ability to move around to different organizations within the company. -People are awesome and always willing to assist.

      Cons

      -Abundance of middle management ((3 managers per team)manager, team lead, product owner)... Very micromanaged! -IT Operations continues to bleed top talent and those that haven't left are miserable and looking. -EVERYTHING is based on metrics and you are measured by ticket quantity not quality of work and value/ideas you bring to the table or money saved. -IT Operations has become a mediocracy. It makes Office Space look like a dream place to work! -Only 1 work from home day while a majority of the rest of the company enjoy much greater flexibility and benefits.

      A company struggling to find itself.

      -Great healthcare benefits. -Offering many training opportunities. -CEO believes in his employees and makes sure it shows.

      Cons

      -Salaries are lower than comparable positions. -Company values are generally ignored. -Excessive hiring of unqualified "friends". -Little room for advancement.
