Pros

Great showrooms and good product....when they get it right. That's about it but this section has a 20 word minimum so I best fill it. Oh and there's free coffee in some showrooms.

Cons

Over complicated and unfair pay structure forcing staff to accept over inflated charge backs for mistakes that they may or may not have made. At times paying more than the customer did for the item. Incapable of delivering products on time or without parts missing and unable to provide staff with the tools to do their job as the planner has so many errors it makes a mockery of any designer.

Pros

Pay and bonus is good!

Cons

Where do I start? Customer Services let the customers down and the store too, and issues regularly left with store, who can't fix. If as a GSM you had 25 working hours in a day this wouldn't be enough. Successfully turned a showroom around but regional management and above still have an attitude of "we can do anything we want with you under 2 years". Indeed, a director was known for... When he woke up thinking, how many people shall I sack today? Basically don't leave a good job to take a chance here. I know 3 successful ex GSMs of Wren. Company operate Whatsapp groups with inappropriate comments and imaginary of staff.

Pros

Can earn great money if your willing to play by wrens rules and lie through your teeth, the surveying job looks decent

Cons

I think wren conduct themselves terribly, let me tell you off the bat you are not a kitchen designer... Despite what may have been told at your interview unless you have experience in the trade your training you get given is how to greet customers on a green carpet they place at the front of the show room where you will stand for hours greeting people walking in the door! That's your two week training learning how to say; "Hello welcome to wren, is it kitchens bedrooms or bathrooms you are after ...... Fantastic follow me" Get used to these words as you will use them a lot over your time at wren, if you fail mystery shop you may be subjected to being sat in front of your colleagues or even worse entire region of strangers and shown the entire video of you failing your mystery shop. You will be given tests on your first couple of weeks where if you fail you will be sacked straight away. In certain stores you may be asked to rip off customers and lie to them to help store targets..... If a customer wants a refund you will tell 5-10 days however it depends on the area managers performance that month it could take up to a month to return their deposit. Your managers will not care you if you struggle wren seems to breed very greedy and self satisfied Management. Your on your own to hit target as your colleagues will try and steal your deals on days off. From Boxing Day to 31st March you will be lucky to have ONE day off for the entire month. That is not an exaggeration ask at your interview as it's the busiest time of the year. Customer service team are really bad and downright rude even to you as a colleague. You will always wear a white shirt and a green lanyard that's that. Management will lie to you.
