Pros

Decent pay because it is easier to sell kitchens in this company. Quality software and great processes, especially at Sheffield store.

Cons

Designers solely responsible when customers choose a different brand. Miserable briefings on saturdays which is a the most important day of the week and the longest one, but it begins with management tormenting designers in an extreme condescending manner.

Pros

Nice canteen, good coffee, lake to walk around at lunchtime.

Cons

One year probationary period, will not provide performance details in reference when leaving only dates of employment. Most managers don’t have any soft skills or management training. Very traditional way of working and view of marketing practices. Strict working environment for in open plan office where you are not permitted to make much noise. Not permitted to have personal items on your desk. Open plan office means you have to listen to others’ hour long teams calls. Tasks are often very vague with not enough information to complete. Work has to be edited many times because of this. Not really any progression opportunities. If you have new ideas, they never really go anywhere. Too many middlemen between stakeholders and doers. Feedback and important information is not communicated well properly to the right people, making things difficult.
