Good Place To Work

Pros

Just started my second week. Couldn't have been more welcoming. I feel part of the furniture already. Fellow team colleagues and Team Managers (currently one moving to another team and her replacement) are always happy to answer questions and offer guidance. The induction was quite good also. Very satisfied with my start at Wren overall.

Cons

Let's just say that the onboarding experience was a bit cluncky. Problems were encountered with the signing of the digital contract etc and the gatehouse did not have my details on the first day. The commute from Hull in the morning is not a problem. But the trip home is a nightmare! Roadworks in Barton, congestion out of Wren and through Barton as office workers and production workers try to get out onto the roads at the same time, oh and let's not forget the years of repair works the southern bridge towers causing queing traffick on the northbound A15 bridge approach road. All in all, it's taking the best part of an hour to get home. I'm lucky to get in before 18.00hr.

Pros

Professional approach to all aspects of starting a new position . All H&S details are met and PPE supplied nothing seems to left

Cons

There aren’t any I realize it’s early days but I have been around for quite some time working in most aspects of maintenance and this company have ticked all the boxes so far
