Pros

Nice clean office, Up to date IT infrastructure, Free Parking

Cons

Poor training on the software/application you are meant to support, low pay, low holiday allocation, strict 30minute lunch, no development support, no management support, not enough team members to deal with work load, no down time and if there was the rare occasion you are given menial jobs/tasks to fill the gaps. Micro Managed (effort logging on tickets/ logging what work has been completed every 15minutes in a spreadsheet), No appreciation for work completed which was over and above what job role is (this happen on regular occasions), Bad Rota, rare bank holiday/weekend off (when other IT teams work from home) and the service desk are the only ones in for the whole HQ. Help from other teams, is a chore and you pretty much have to beg. Long Probation (1 year), high turn over of team members (not because they have moved internally)
