Pros

-For the hours the pay is good, 8.21 per hour plus £50 commission per appointment (if the kitchen then sells) -Nice people to work with, really good support from in-store managers and when starting out designers were helpful if I was struggling with any customers -Showrooms are nice

Cons

-Recently changed the way pay and commission works, for every commission period (4 weeks) they will not pay you for your 1st appointment made, they keep the money even though you done your job. -I found working every single Saturday and Sunday horrible, makes a social life difficult -If the showroom is quiet it is really boring work and there is still pressure from management to get leads -Only training I was provided with was on an online portal, I didn't take anything in and found the job hard for the first few months -Once you have made appointments you are not guaranteed any commission as it is down to the designer to sell the kitchen from that point on - this could be extremely frustrating -Sometimes felt like an unhealthy competitive environment between designers. Also pressure on who to give appointments to -The all year round 'sale' is confusing. They make out there are massive sales on when really they just choose something different to discount each month -Company are constantly drilling into you that Wren is the best kitchen provider which I honestly did question by the end of working there

Pros

I am new here at wren, 4 weeks in and just graduated from training. I am blown away by the scope of the business and the in-depth world class training which has facilitated Wrens rise to the number 1 kitchen retailer in the UK... and soon to be USA.

Cons

None so far. The drive to the Nest wasnt the most fun, however I have met some wonderful people down here and I wish every success to all of the team at the nest and everyone in my training group.
