Pros

If you are passionate about helping the most vulnerable members of society, you can do a lot of good direct work here. A lot of support from peers. The PTO they offer is better than most. Can be rewarding in a non monetary way.

Cons

Middle management and upper management say they care about employees and employee developmemt, but it doesn't feel that way. Extremely high job expectations with high stress levels at extremely low pay. Unsafe job with little to no support from management. Little to no opportunity for advancement or training. Benefits are bad except for the PTO and holiday pay. They try to be "trauma informed" but don't really make the grade when it comes to caring for employees.

Wyandot Center- poor leadership on all levels, lack of professionalism, no raises or incentives, lack of creativity in how to provide services and work with less.

Great staff, supervisors care about their employees, time for documentation and traveling is accounted for.

Cons

No raises, no office space form case managers and assistant case managers, you must use your own vehicle.
