      Pros

      XKL is currently in a start up operation mode which makes it exciting to be part of a growing team with lots of potential to learn different aspects of the network business. The XKL team is determined to expand the horizon for the industry and create innovative network products and solutions. Highly recommended place to work at if you're an innovative, strategic, and perseverant person.

      Cons

      As typically the case for a start up operation, you are expected to do various and different tasks each day. Priorities and strategies do change just like everywhere else so if you're not adaptable type of a person then XKL is not the right place for you.

      Pros

      XKL is a great place for engineering - employees of different levels of experience collaborating on innovative designs. New/intermediate engineers learn from experienced industry leaders and have the opportunity to work on a variety of areas that would never be offered at traditional companies. Senior engineers' ideas are valued and work with management to drive new projects based on customer opportunities. Unlike most private/startup companies, the ownership allows the freedom to explore new ideas and push the boundaries on their products instead of cutting corners just to get a product sold. Notable company benefits include competitive pay, health insurance, free drinks/cheap snacks, working from home once a week.

      Cons

      The engineering focus of XKL as a company is strong but operations is somewhat lacking. XKL also needs to improve their sales channel as a company - I am encouraged by recent steps that have been made to address this deficiency. I have read some of the other reviews and agree there is immaturity found in some of the operational personnel. From my personal experience, even though I did not agree with the approach of some co-workers, I have always been treated with professionalism and respect and allowed to fulfill my role with dignity.
