It’s a good way to enter and get a feel for Security Management. Decent benefits.
Cons
The pay is especially low for the DFW area, especially with the background and level of clearance you have. Promotions are slow and erratic. There’s no cost of living adjustment (unlike the Federal employees). The contract is updated each year, and the pay has actually gone down.
