Since joining the company in 2017, I have been most impressed with a number of aspects of XPO. The culture of the company places a strong emphasis on engagement and a strong team ethic. It also encourages you to develop a passion for customer service. We continually strive to give the customer an outstanding service, and this passion is demonstrated by the team. Going the extra mile ensures that we are never complacent about our customer choosing to give us their business. This is extremely important in an ultra competitive market in which retailers are facing unprecedented pressure on their margins, and consequently are looking to maximise value. Another aspect of working for XPO that impresses me is their willingness to let colleagues learn from their mistakes, which are treated as a learning opportunity, rather than behaviour to be punished.
