Pros

-There are some good employees that want to do well but the management staff doesn't know how to value or mentor them. -Gain experience to add to resume so that you can move on. That's it.

Cons

-The salary stinks. Point blank. If you are an Account Manager, do not expect to make more than 32K per year. It will take you at least 6 months to earn commission. Also expect that on the Carrier side of the business. -Managers do not know how to manage. They will use profanity in front of you and at you! Don't waist your time going to HR because their isn't anybody in HR. They all left at the same time and they were actually good at their jobs. What does that tell you....we all are scratching our heads at that one..what's really going on behind the scenes that we don't know about. Upper Management needs to get the "level" line managers under control and fast. -It is true, the CEO has this group called "Brad's Club". How messed up is that? It has created conflict and a divided atmosphere in the office. Only a "select few" was asked to be apart of this club. No rhyme or reason. It is no secret that the CEO has asked folks to right positive reviews because how negative the comments are on here. Trust and believe the negative comments are all true which is tied to my title..."Don't make the same mistake I did", I read the reviews and was like nahhhh, it can't be that bad. Wellllll..they are true. It's that bad. - Managers and the company does not invest in employees. The only "time" investment is them standing above you yelling for you to make 100 calls..and if you don't expect to be placed on a PIP so that they can replace you with another naive warm body and yes I am calling myself naive because I jumped on this train wreck of a company. -Work life balance-forget it. I actually feel sorry for the carrier reps, they have to come in on Saturdays while the managers are at home sending threatening emails from their cell phones about booking loads that aren't actually there which leads me to my next point... -Finger pointing. Be prepared to have a finger in your face 8 hrs of the day. I consider my self a true professional and seasoned, so I have worked in multiple companies and industries. I have never experienced anything like this before. Upper management, manager and coworkers will shove you under the bus daily then go into offices and conference rooms and laugh about it. Happens every day; sadly- actually immune to the backstabbing which is concerning to me because I don't want to form these bad habits. Very troubling. -This place does not believe in communication. Be prepared to have your commission plan change every 3-6 months and it will not be in your favor. Only XPO's! They are only interested in making their profits look good so the CEO can sell the company. If you are reading this, odds are that you are doing your due diligence, do some more and read about the CEO. He buys company's and then sells them. That's it. Don't be fooled by his "passion" to see you succeed. All a fake. -Career Advancement- Laugh out loud. Can't advance, more worried about not being placed on a PIP. Yes, I may seem disgruntled but the fact of the matter is that I not. I just want to paint a true picture of the culture and atmosphere of XPO. Please don't make the same mistake that I did...keep interviewing and join a company that will truly care about you and invest in your development.

Pros

ZERO. If you enjoy managers telling you that you need to "take a Xanax and get laid" then this is the place for you. Seriously, I can't even make up the things that go on in the Charlotte office. Take a minute to talk to a current account manager or carrier rep if you don't believe me.

Cons

IF you are even considering XPO as an option--look elsewhere. This company is modern day slavery. They're one step away from chaining you to a desk and nailing a phone to your ear. Disregard ALL of the good, "honest" reviews. Brad Jacobs (CEO) sent an email to his "club" asking that they write great reviews on XPO. They're also switching up the already horrible commission structure to make the company look better to investors but take away money from the employees who are the backbone of the company. You may think you'd be happy to have any job right now but just wait... A "career" would be more promising at Walmart.

Pros

Really can't name any...ok, wait!!!! No, that was at another job.

Cons

Salary, local management team must've been charity hires, TOXIC environment unlike anything I've ever seen. Procurement CANNOT negotiate with carriers.....blame is deflected onto the sales floor for all the mistakes made elsewhere in the company!
