Xactly is a great place to Work

Pros

I appreciate the strong corporate culture and the executive leadership team is great to work with. My recruiter was great during the hiring process. Xactly offers competitive compensation and benefits and perks. And our corporate office has a great view of the entire Silicon Valley (plus a new sign on the building).

Cons

Since we are still becoming profitable, budgets for some things are challenging (like improvements to information systems).

Miserable place to work

Pros

I met a lot of great people at Xactly. The sales reps are some of the best people I've worked with

Cons

Sales management is awful. Sales management is demoralizing and condescending. Not afraid to talk about current or former employees out loud on open floor plan. Most sales reps are miserable at this company. The image Xactly presents (motivated, young employees, "smart" incentivizing, etc) is NOT how it is on the inside. Not to mention the product is an unnecessary add-on to salesforce that companies don't want or need.

As an example, beginning in April 2017, all Xactly people managers globally are required to complete a series of on-demand leadership development courses and group learning sessions - a great opportunity for leaders at all levels of the organization. Best Company I've Worked For

Pros

Xactly understands that their employees are their biggest asset and invests a good amount of energy in making sure they are happy. There is open communication about career progression and personal growth with managers (in my experience). Benefits and perks are excellent, even for remote employees. Generally, the culture is one of inclusiveness and there are endless learning opportunities.

Cons

Being a remote employee can be a big challenge; work/life balance is definitely a challenge as well, but you are recognized and compensated for all the hard work. Tuition reimbursement is pretty low. Employees generally have the same training as clients - while this is fine, there should be more advanced training for only internal employees.
