Not a good company to work for
Pros
Working in the Parks are beautiful
Cons
They work you full time with little pay and take over half your check for room/board. You sign a policy showing the maximum of each paycheck they are allowed take for room/board, however they take out more than that and each month they ended up taking out more and more. I worked in Yellowstone at one of the campgrounds where I also lived and there were times where the campground would run out of firewood on nights when it was cold and rainy. I would give away firewood to guests when our campground was sold out, since I had plenty and Xanterra gave me a warning with NPS involved saying I was not allowed to GIVE AWAY firewood because it interfered with their sales. (Even though they had no firewood left to sell). I was also told that if I did it again that they would let me go. I quit and finished out the season at a different National Park because I was so hurt and disappointed with Xanterra inside Yellowstone.
