      Pros

      Stable place to work. Most people there have and will work there for years. Development opportunities are available for employees.

      Cons

      Salaries are below market. Workforce is very old and therefore change is very difficult. It is difficult to move up in the company.

      Pros

      Company still has a defined benefit pension plan. Generous paid time off program. If you work in the right areas people have found happiness.

      Cons

      Company is highly bureaucratic with little ability to impact any change. Senior leadership is completely detached from front line employees. Company is aware of massive industry changes ahead but has no idea how to adapt. Staff reductions and pay cuts have become a way of doing business. Work load is concentrated on the few hard working and dedicated employees while a large number of long term employees coast along.
