      Pros

      Free Lunch on my BMO card and Free PTO if you do well taking on-call work.

      Cons

      Very Top heaven in upper management. Sr VP, VP, SR Director, Director x 5, SR managers, Manager, Sr Tech, … then micro management is passed up. Awful culture and want to look for a new opportunity. Plus Xcel has a “Run to Fail” maintenance strategy and has me worried about its future.

      Pros

      Decent benefits. Pretty good PTO, offer 4 weeks paid parental leave.

      Cons

      HR strategy. very structured in pay raises and hiring process. Can not receive in place promotions, usually need a spot to be come available on your team or take different job to move up salary grades.

      Pros

      They are quite flexible depending on the team. Good work and life balance. Relatively easy to move around the company.

      Cons

      Office 3 days a week not much flexibility. Leadership isn't very transparent. The benefits are alright... Not a lot of options for healthcare if that's important to you.
