Pros

Very stable, lots of employment options, lots of really good people to work with.

Cons

Like most big corporations, they are held hostage by the woke agenda. Xcel's job is simple: turn on the lights. Generally speaking, I think the company takes this seriously. But there is a very noticeable effort to play the nihilistic PR game of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion within the corporate infrastructure, which itself is driven by people who spend very little (if any) time on the ground at the power plants and transmission lines where the company's bottom line is being accomplished for the public good.
