Culture is good Laid back environment with not much work pressure

Cons

- Lost the strong culture it used to have - Pay is well below market rates specially if you have been here for more than couple of years. It seems you are penalised for sticking around. - Unnecessary layers and layers of hierarchy with seemingly most of them adding no value

- free fruit - free drink - nice office

Cons

- my manager doesn't really care about the people, even his title is people's lead, he cares more about the delivery, which ignore people's well being - there was one day having a sick leave, he approved but at the end of the week, he said my work is less than he expected - he likes micro control, as a guy without tech background, he wanted all engineers in the team worked in his way. - no options for hardware for most of engineers, even they say they have - I have never had this bad manager in NZ, if you like Xero, it is OK, but you have to ask who will be your manager, and talking to the manager
