Pros

Fantastic Employer, Awesome Team. Working with a great bunch of people, who are all very supportive while I am in the early stages of my career. Great office space with a great culture.

Cons

Pay in Wellington. Actually the pay is fine, Wellington is just incredibly expensive. 50,000 a year means living with the parents, or having less expendable income than I did as a student. And Xero pays monthly, which is horrible.

Talented colleagues and free food on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Cons

Executives have been driving the company into the ground. There is no job security and no career growth as everything is being automated now to reduce headcount and downsize the company. Everyone in the company is looking for jobs elsewhere because we just never know when we'll be let go. Xero is no longer a sustainable place to work.
