Pros
Working at Xero was a great experience. The company culture can't be matched - the team is extremely smart, hardworking and social. There are plenty of opportunities to get to know those that you work with outside of the office, everyone is so welcoming and it's overall a very positive and engaging place to come to work everyday. Flexibility to work from home is another great perk! The office is very technologically advanced, all conference rooms have cameras set up to make communicating with teams globally a breeze! Overall, really amazing company, with a great mission and set of values that they do truly live by.
Cons
The only con I would share is that there could sometimes be breakdown in communication/ conflicting direction when working on a large scale project, with input required from multiple team members and departments. That said, I would say that the benefits of working there far outweigh any negatives. Everyone on the team is super laid-back and approachable if you do require clarity on strategy/ direction.
