Pros

Great people and work culture Flexible working conditions Flat hierarchy means you can test new ideas Pay is decent and good benefits Leadership are open to feedback Not alot of politics internally Culture is open to moving around internally

Cons

Middle management is questionable, people who have been around a long time but minimal external tech experience. Every manager I've had has been sub-par. Not clear feedback loop for management. Lack of career progression. No clear role progression, no promotion process. Lots of change recently leading to random layoffs recently and team working way overtime to get things done. People are extended beyond their capacity. No clear who does what between teams. Teams get protective of what they own leading to unclear handoffs and lots of duplication. Company that is in its teenage phase struggling to be a big tech company with talent who is not open to the vision. No onboarding internally, expectation is to jump in and get on with it.
