Pros

Reasonably proficient onboarding experience, and HR do a great job of selling you the job before it actually starts. Free fruit.

Cons

Much like the Xero customer experience, once you're actually in, that's where they stop caring as much. There are two kinds of people working there, those who want to help you progress, but are too busy & those who pretend to want to help you but don't actually care. Extremely low pay rates within CX teams compared to Product. There's little opportunity for career progression outside of Product teams. Some reasonable amounts of disfunction with parts of the organisation not talking to others. Some dead weight in the organisation who don't appear to do much work, who management know about and seem to ignore.

Work from home Pays pretty well considering STI package

Cons

Toxic culture No support for career growth or development Favouritism and bullying Self-serving management - will take credit for your work and provide zero recognition or progression Micromanagement and controlling leadership Seems evident across most of marketing and probably other areas of the business too. Constant restructuring and no job security Burn and churn culture - you will need to take 6 months off after leaving this company to recover

Pros

There are some really great people that still work at Xero. I still have faith that after the dust settles Xero can be great again.

Cons

We are coming out of a restructure, the mood is pretty low. The CEO genuinely does not care about employees outside of her inner circle. She’s frustrated that we aren’t “moving on” after the bloodbath of redundancies.
