Pros

Working from home , help from chat , I really can't find any other pros - I just have all cons ! I can guarantee they have a high turnover rate . They hire ANYONE. You don't have to have any tech experience to get a job doing tech support . I have people in my class that didn't know how to use the Mac they where given to use , couldn't figure out how to hook up their Ethernet cord to their computer , yet had a job doing tech support . They give you an open book test at the end of training , you can even ask the teacher for help and they give you the answers to pass !

Cons

Training is awful , especially for people who have never used an apple product before . I felt bad for those people . Once you start to work It's non- stop calls , you have to keep your call under 5-10 min , if you go over 20 min they expect you to explain what's going on and why the call is taking so long- at the same time you are helping a customer . As soon as you hang up with a customer another call comes in , it's non -stop , you may get 20 seconds between calls but most of the time you don't . You can move up quickly but don't get a pay increase . You are just able to take more calls . They are all about being fast ! They want you to send the customer instructions to fix their own problem and move on to the next - for 8 hrs , but the customers wait 45 min to get to you and want help , they want you to fix the problem not instructions . The only way to make more than you base pay is with surveys and people are not happy when they fill out surveys. You get 2 -15 min breaks and a lunch but you can only take your break at the time they scheduled it . You may work at home but it's like you have someone looking over your shoulder telling you to hurry up - faster - what's going on - all day long ! You have a clock on your screen that ticks away .

Pros

The salary that they offered was good.

Cons

People were too busy trying to get each other fired. You couldn't turn your back for a minute. And the red tape involved with purchasing new equipment was unbelievable. There was no asset management in place. Equipment would disappear, and nothing would be done about it.
