Pros

The only Pros for this position are that you are able to work from home. That is the only pro for this position. Yes, I enjoy being able to work from home, but this is just not worth it.

Cons

The training is terrible!! The trainer I had just zipped through everything, because he was running behind. You get absolutely no help from the trainers and they expect you to know TONS and I mean TONS of material in just 3 weeks. It's ridiculous!! Then you have to take this big exam at the end. The material is all about Apple products. You might think "Well this sounds easy", believe me, it's not. We had 5 people leave in the first 2 days of training. So what does that tell you? Just beware, if you have never worked in a technical job before, than you might as well pass this up. The majority of the people who were in my training class had already had at least one technical job before. After one week of training they put you on the phones live with a customer to help them out with a technical problem. You are supposed to have a mentor(someone who is already a Technical Tier 1 Agent) with you, but they never actually help. Trust me. Look elsewhere!! Yes, it sounds nice and you are working from home, but the training is a nightmare and you will get NO help from anyone. The trainers are just worried about how much money they can make on students who pass this ridiculous test at the end of the training. They actually had a supervisor and several other people who were already agents, come and talk to us. They were saying how wonderful it is and how much growth with the company there is. I didn't believe it for a second, especially after being in the training class for a week. It is a joke!! They must pay these people extra to say that crap. Oh, btw, if you don't have a strong internet connection, than forget it. They have this terrible Blackboard system, they keeps cutting you off and then their technical advisors want to blame it on your Internet Service Provider, which is ridiculous. Just trust me when I tell you, to go elsewhere. The starting pay is $10 per hour and it is not worth it!!
