Pros

They have clear, written processes for all functions and jobs. This made training extremely easy and it was nice to have something to refer back to.

Cons

You're completely disposable. People have come in for a day and have been fired for any number of things without notice. Lots of stress. Management will pretty much find any reason to blame you to cover their skins.

Poor work/life balance

Pros

Can work from home, generally nice coworkers, opportunities to travel.

Cons

Poor compensation. The CEO and upper management constantly sacrifice customer and employee satisfaction to meet quarterly goals. The CEO has never worked for another company in her entire life and it shows. Poor work/life balance, and lousy offices.

Pros

Large company with solid reputation that's been around a long time. Ok benefits, though they are getting pared down a little more each year. Bought ACS and investing in 'services'.

Cons

They are not investing in their technological future. There have been many rounds of layoffs in R & D in recent years, and there is lots of fear and uncertainty among engineers.
