Pros

Public Sector and Major accounts are challenging in the billing and cash organizations giving a sense of personal accomplishment.

Cons

No room for advancement unless you are in "the club" Talent, experience and expertise make no difference in a promotional aspect. Middle management is awful. In the last 5 years I have never seen so many bullies in one organization with the Operational management just turning in the other direction and not addressing poor management, lack luster performance by associates and non compliance. Morale is at an all time low due to no promotional opportunities within the organization and no management sign off when one is found in a different organization or in the field. No more customer focus. its all about making the bottom line number no matter how it is done.

Pros

You could be salary and get away with not working a full 40 hours if that is your thing. They allow you to preschedule sick days if that is your thing.

Cons

Lots of red tape. Your a project manager but only power you have is to add more time to your project and tell them where you are. Team is not use to any push and they dont like it. You are thought of as a " " if you try and motivate the team along. There is noone to go with as a open door policy. No HR on site and management will give you a very hard time if you have a complaint or a problem. I have never seen anything like it.

Pros

Flexible hours depending on the job you were on, and the people you worked with were usually great. Good benefits, but they are cutting back as the economy slows down.

Cons

Promotion, as with many companies, was dependent on how well you got along with people. Politics is a main stay of a large company. If you were selected as a fast tracker, your success was almost guaranteed, but if not then it is easy to just get lost in the shuffle. Software Engineering jobs are becoming scarcer in the company as it becomes more and more of a service company. At least to what it used to be.
