Pros
If you go into sales (and only sales) you can move quickly on your own merits. Upper management makes it a point to identify, train and challenge potential leaders.
Cons
Promotions often carry much higher workloads and less income as well as reduced income potential. Work hours are insane and not just for sales but also for the operations team. Trading emails with team members at midnight and 4 am are common. Benefits are atrocious compared to my peers outside of the company. Vacation time is great but there is no way to take it. I
