Pros

My managers have been great and very flexible with my work schedule. I get to work on a variety of projects and build my skill set.

Cons

There are always layoffs, which leads to a lot of uncertainty. Money is tight, so there are not salary increases

Comments on the old ACS side of the business

Pros

Broad range of problem sets, customer issues. There are a good number of high bandwidth people, yet you need to search to find them. Reasonably good processes in place.

Cons

Very poor work-personal life balance. Uneven quality of mid-level and senior management. There's an old-boy's club at the top of the old ACS chain that stifles true change. Innovation is interpreted very loosely on the IT services side of the house.

Xerox was a great place to work.

Pros

Very supportive of work/life balance. Working from home was very common. Cross-functional teams were great to work with. Wonderful people.

Cons

In this economy, they always tried to do more with less resources. After a downsizing, it makes it very difficult for the "survivors".
