Pros

Still the best Technology....Good people who try.

Cons

Corporate cuts so deep customers are not supported. Reports to management about process inefficiencies fall on deaf ears. No loyalty to employees. You are truly a cog in a machine. Upper management manages from fear and threats for your job. For a company who supposedly embraces Lean Six Sigma we have the worst processes imaginable requiring sales people to spend 80% of their work week in front of the computer and on the phone trying to get pricing approvals and deal reviews approved. I can only compare it to the bureaucracy of the US Government.... All territories are not the same. Unreasonable sales quotas set for territories which cannot support them.

Pros

Pay ok. People are pretty nice. Benefits are okay. Quick three day hire. Extensive training. Customer service telecommunications expierence. Trainers are great.

Cons

The training didn't cover every scenario. This job requires getting yelled at consistently by customers and supervisors. Getting verbal warnings over things that make no sense. I quit when told that even with a doctors note I would have to call in every day and make up the hours when i got back. Mandatory over time which some people cant do. Need management to be nicer to employees.

Pros

Great people is the key benefit at Xerox. Rarely did I work with someone who was nothing but courteous. The business unit I worked in was all virtual, so working from home was wonderful.

Cons

Management has no clue about where to take Xerox. The executives do not understand the business and make poor decisions as a result. People are the key asset to the business and quarterly layoffs are the norm. If the business unit does not meet the quarterly goal, people are let go...regardless if they are a top performer or working with a client.
