      - Good infra - Processed work - Great work life balance - Is definitely a great company for one coming from hardware background. Some real good projects around that are going on here.

      Cons

      - Less challenging work - Might not be a good take for a professional looking for pure software oriented work or one coming from CS background

      I've been working for Xilinx over 2 years, really work/life balance, good compensation and benefits.

      You have to look for you own career development, and there is very limited space to promote.

      Pros

      The company is growing. I was in the software tools team and the work was pretty interesting. A lot of smart and dedicated people.

      Cons

      The work was too unstructured and not enough planning. Ended up doing a lot of fire fighting.
