      decent pay (comparable to industry) good work life balance good co-workers. leading edge technology. good company financial (at least for now)

      its becoming more management heavy now. hierarchies are being artificially created probably where none is required. too many re-org have been done in the last year and half

      Pros

      The best reason to work for Xilinx is that the company, for the time being, makes a good profit on its core products. This, in theory, provides a stable financial base for your employment.

      Cons

      The quality of the managment hierarchy at the company has been deteriorating for the last 4 years and, even with the injection of a new CEO, the culture and morale of the company is at a real low. The net effect is that a lot of the high quality talent is fleeing because the opportunities for career growth are all but gone.
